Khanpur Kalan, February 20, 2024. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi today announced the various education and skill development projects, including the Pradhan Mantri Uchchtar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA) Scheme. Live telecast of this program was organised in the conference hall of the Vice Chancellor's office of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan.
 

Listing the educational infrastructure projects of today’s event, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that the advancement of education and skill development sectors on such a scale was a distant reality ten years ago. “But, this is new India”, the Prime Minister said, highlighting that the government of today indulges in maximum expenditure for the modern education of the present and future generations. Prime Minister Modi made a significant announcement of Rs 3600 crore for 78 projects especially under the PM-USHA scheme.
 

BPSMV has been selected under this scheme. The university will receive a financial grant of Rs 20 crore under the PM Usha Scheme for strengthening the infrastructure and development works.
 

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sudesh said that Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan is an important initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's future-oriented thinking, vision and development of higher educational institutions of India. VC Prof. Sudesh expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narender Modi, the Ministry of Education (Govt. of India) and Haryana Government for short listing BPSMV for this developmental grant and said that this will be a stepping stone in development of higher education and research infrastructure of University and to achieve the goals of equity, access and excellence.
