Playing role of three fabulous fathers, get to know dashing dads of ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s upcoming show Bebaakee

ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s upcoming web series Bebaakee has become the talk of the town with their recent cast and character announcements from the much-awaited romantic drama. With the series all set to release at the end of July, there’s no prize for guessing that fans are eagerly awaiting this romantic drama to unfold. In addition to the intriguing plotline, Bebaakee features an ensemble cast that includes the likes of Kushal Tandon, Karan Jotwani, Pratik Sehajpal, Shivjyoti Rajput, Saloni Vora, along with senior actors Krutika Desai, Suchitra Pillai, and Ananya Khare. If you thought, that was it, well, think again. Joining this talented cast are seasoned actors Mohit Chauhan, Sameer Malhotra, and Indraneel Bhattacharya, who will play doting fathers to the three lead characters in the series.
 
Sameer Malhotra will portray the role of Adil Abdullah, father of Kushal Tandon’s character Sufiyaan. Adil Abdullah and Farhad Alkazi have been best friends for the last 30 years and started a newspaper together, which has now grown to be one of the largest media and publication houses in India. While Adil manages the verticals of business development, client relations, marketing, and communications, Farhad is the brain behind running the company.
 
On the other hand, Mohit Chauhan will be seen as Farhad Alkazi, father of Karan Jotwani’s character Imtiyaz Alkazi. He is kind and an extremely good-hearted man, who’s destined for success. His friendship with Adil is so precious to him that he prays to God 5 times a day for the protection and happiness of his extended family.
 
Playing the role of the third dad on the show, Indraneel Bhattacharya will be seen as Indrapeet Sahni, father of Shivjyoti Rajput’s character Kainaat Sahni. An extremely devoted husband and father, Indrajeet is a former journalist and currently a professor at the college where his children study.
 
With these three fathers making their children what they are, one can’t wait to see how this trio delivers a performance to remember for viewers who’re waiting for the show with bated breath.
 
The story of Bebaakee is based on the lives of Kainaat Sahni and Sufiyaan Abdullah, two contrasting characters with strong personalities. Kainaat is a simple and happy-go-lucky girl who has her goals firmly set in her mind, while the guy hails from a rich family. Their love for journalism sees their paths collide leading to the pair feeling a high sense of chemistry between themselves. The puzzle arises when the duo simply can’t seem to figure out if this vibe between them is going to be followed by love or hate. What follows next is an unforeseen chain of events that begins to shake Sufiyaan’s close-knit family and their business.
