Players of DRV DAV Centenary Public School perform excellently in DAV National Sports (Cluster-Level) 

Jalandhar, December 8, 2023: DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur, showcased remarkable achievements by dedicated team across various categories in the DAV National Sports (Cluster-Level), hosted at various schools on December 6. 

At Dayanand Model School, Model Town Jalandhar, DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur’s Chess U-19 Boys’ category exhibited strategic brilliance, securing the third prize. The younger talents in the U-14 Boys’ category showcased exceptional skill, clinching the second prize.

At Lala Jagat Narayan School, Jalandhar, the spirited performance of DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur’s Handball team Girls' U-17 resulted in a stellar achievement, securing the first position. U-17 Boys’ basketball team achieved second position.

Principal Dr Yogesh Gambhir congratulated the team and their mentors. He stated that these achievements stand as a testament to the dedication and skill of their athletes, reflecting positively on their school's commitment to fostering excellence in both chess and handball.
