Play ‘Ghadar Express’ filled air with patriotic fervor

Bathinda, October 12, 2021: The play ‘Ghadar Express’ staged on 12TH evening of 10th national theatre festival being organized by Natyam Bathinda at Balwant Gargi open air theatre, filled air with patriotic fervor. Directed and written by Kirti Kripal and Dr Atamjit respectively, the 1:45 hr long play portrayed the lives of freedom fighters including Kashi Ram, Harnam Singh Kahri-Sahri, Bhai Bhagwan Singh, Meva Singh Mopoke. The script captured the emotions for our country love in such a way that the entire audience gave a standing ovation to them.
To give blessings to the performers, Punjab’s most loved and legendary writer, poet and chairman of Punjab’s Arts Council, Chandigarh, Dr. Surjit Patar also joined the evening and congratulated the whole team of Kirti Kripal for their outstanding performance. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bathinda, Param Vir Singh and his wife Nitya were also present during the event.
