Pilgrimage bus leaves Ferozepur for Haridwar-Rishikesh
The state government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has started a pilgrimage programme to Haridwar and Rishikesh, keeping in view the religious sentiments of the people. As part of the initiative, Ferozepur MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar flagged off a bus carrying pilgrims from Ferozepur for Haridwar-Rishikesh.
Ferozepur, August 18, 2026: The state government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has started a pilgrimage programme to Haridwar and Rishikesh, keeping in view the religious sentiments of the people. As part of the initiative, Ferozepur MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar flagged off a bus carrying pilgrims from Ferozepur for Haridwar-Rishikesh.
Bhullar said the pilgrims would be provided a two-day and three-night travel arrangement, including an AC sleeper bus, meals and hotel accommodation. All necessary facilities related to transportation, stay and food are being provided free of cost by the government.
He said providing devotees with a comfortable and safe journey, along with an opportunity to visit religious places, was a priority of the government.
Bhullar said serving the people and respecting their religious sentiments remained an important commitment of the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
He extended his best wishes to all the pilgrims and prayed for their safe and comfortable journey.
