Physiotherapy Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College organized two-day workshop on `Dry Needling’

Jalandhar, November 26, 2022: A two-day workshop was organized on the subject of 'Dry Needling' by Department of Physiotherapy, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. 

Dr Bibek Adhya, Superintendent Physiotherapist and in-charge Sports Physiotherapy Centre, PGI Chandigarh participated as a resource person in this workshop. 

Principal of the college Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and Head of Physiotherapy Department Dr. Raju Sharma welcomed Resource Person with a bouquet of flowers. 

On this occasion, Principal Dr. Samra said that it is very important to have practical knowledge in physiotherapy profession. Without practical knowledge the results of physiotherapy treatment cannot be effective. He also said that students should participate as much as possible in such courses along with the main studies.

Principal Dr. Samara congratulated Dr. Raju Sharma and the staff of the department for such departmental activity. Head of Department Dr. Raju Sharma gave detailed information about this two-day workshop. Resource person Dr. Bibek, while addressing the students, said that 'Dry needling' technique is very useful in treating chronic musculoskeletal problems of athletes. He taught the students how to use the 'dry needling' method on different parts of the body. Finally, Resource Person Dr. Bibek Adhya was honored by Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and Head of Department Dr. Raju Sharma. Dr. Raju Sharma paid vote of thanks. Dr. Jaswant Kaur, Dr. Priyank Sharda, Dr. Anjali Ojha, Dr. Vishali and Dr. Suman were also present on this occasion.
