Photography exhibition by students of PU at Gandhi Bhawan
The Photography exhibition by the students of CDOE, Panjab University, was inaugurated at Gandhi Bhawan, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The exhibition is supported by the Department of Gandhian and Peace Studies. A total of 13 students pursuing the Advanced Diploma in Photography (ADP) from CDOE, Panjab University, Chandigarh are exhibiting their 27 works.

Chandigarh, June 5, 2025: The Photography exhibition by the students of CDOE, Panjab University, was inaugurated at Gandhi Bhawan, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The exhibition is supported by the Department of Gandhian and Peace Studies. A total of 13 students pursuing the Advanced Diploma in Photography (ADP) from CDOE, Panjab University, Chandigarh are exhibiting their 27 works.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Ashu Pasricha (Chairperson, Gandhian and Peace Studies), Dr. Sukhjinder Singh (Director Youth Welfare, PU), and Dr. Tejinder Singh (Assistant Director Youth Welfare, PU).
Prof. Harsh Gandhar, Director CDOE congratulated the students for displaying their artwork for the general public and motivated the students of CDOE to further hone their skills and creativity.
The Photography exhibition is part of the practical paper in the curriculum. The photography exhibition was curated under the mentorship of Jeesu Jaskanwar Singh, Coordinator, ADP. The works of Gulshan Kumar, Nitin Kumar, Sahil Dhiman, Stanzin Sonam, Manjit Singh, Sweety Thakur, Abhay Singh Chauhan, Deepshikha, Rohan Riaou, Kulvir Singh, Kawaljit Singh, Roos, and Lovepreet Singh are exhibited in the Group Photography Exhibition.
During the CDOE’s Personal Contact Programme (PCP) students got insights into various aspects of Photography from Sh. Swadesh Talwar, Kulbhushan Kanwar, Vikas Kahol, Dr. Pradeep Tewari, Dr. Sudhir Baweja, Shivali Raj, Praveen Jaggi, Hitesh Vig, Abhinav Poonia, Mandeep Singh, Arun Bansal, Gagandeep, Dr. Abhijeet Singh, Michaelangelo, Satish Verma, and Parveen Jaggi. The of the exhibited works covers wide range of topics like wildlife, nature, street photography, photojournalism, night photography, art photography, etc.
Prof. Ashu Pasricha, Dr. Sukhjinder Singh and Dr. Tejinder Singh interacted with artists and appreciated their exhibited works.
