Tibetans-in-Exile protest in Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh) on Tuesday, against the alleged secret cremation by Nepal of a 38-year-old Tibetan Buddhist monk, Karma Ngedon Gyatso, who self-immolated in Katmandu 49 days ago on August 6. Protesters were holding placards carrying slogan “Nepal: Respect Human rights”. They were also carrying an empty earthen urn symbolising the absence of Gyatso's body or ashes to complete religious rituals as per Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Tibetans believe that the soul finally departs the earthly world on the 49th day after death. One of the protestors was also carrying the photograph of Karma Ngedon Gyatso.
