Chandigarh, October 29, 2025: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) has announced new leadership appointments at both the national and state levels, reaffirming its commitment to promoting industrial growth, policy advocacy, and entrepreneurship across India.
Rajeev Juneja, Managing Director of Mankind Pharma, has officially assumed charge as the National President of PHDCCI. With an extensive background in the pharmaceutical sector and corporate governance, Juneja is expected to lead the Chamber toward deeper engagement with policymakers and industry stakeholders to address emerging challenges and accelerate India’s economic growth.
At the state level, Karan Gilhotra has been reappointed for consecutive term as Chair of the PHDCCI Punjab State Chapter. A prominent industrialist and philanthropist, Gilhotra’s reappointment is a testament to his visionary leadership, strategic initiatives, and tireless efforts in strengthening the industry–government partnership in Punjab.
Widely recognized for his entrepreneurial acumen and social contributions, Gilhotra is also the Founder of Plaksha University, a leading institution dedicated to innovation and technology-driven education.
