A PhD orientation program for the academic session 2025–2026 was organized at Baba Mastnath University (BMU), Asthal Bohar. Organized by the IQAC, the program saw the participation of approximately 250 newly enrolled research scholars. At the inauguration of the program, faculty members and administrative officials welcomed the new scholars, encouraging them to adopt a dedicated, disciplined, and responsible approach toward research. A research handbook was also formally released during the event.

Rohtak, March 21, 2026: A PhD orientation program for the academic session 2025–2026 was organized at Baba Mastnath University (BMU), Asthal Bohar. Organized by the IQAC, the program saw the participation of approximately 250 newly enrolled research scholars. At the inauguration of the program, faculty members and administrative officials welcomed the new scholars, encouraging them to adopt a dedicated, disciplined, and responsible approach toward research. A research handbook was also formally released during the event.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. B.M. Yadav discussed in detail the fundamental spirit of research and its social utility. He said that research is not merely a means to obtain a degree, but a powerful instrument for knowledge creation, intellectual growth, and social change. He urged the research scholars to cultivate curiosity and to adopt a logical and analytical perspective. He remarked that a true researcher is one who possesses the courage to question established norms and remains ceaselessly dedicated to the pursuit of truth. On behalf of the university administration, he also gave an assurance that all necessary resources and guidance required for conducting high-quality research would be made available.

Registrar Dr. Vinod Kumar observed that the present era is characterized as a knowledge-based society, wherein the role of research has become increasingly significant. He emphasized the necessity of not limiting research solely to theoretical discourse, but rather linking it to the resolution of practical problems, innovation, and policy formulation.

Dean Academic Affairs Dr. Naveen Kapil elucidated the various stages of the research process in a simple and systematic manner. Presenting a practical analysis of the entire journey—from subject selection to research publication—he underscored the importance of adopting an interdisciplinary approach. During the session, the research scholars sought to gain a better understanding of the complexities associated with research by posing their queries.
