PGIMS Students Win 'College of the Year' Title at National Competition
Showcasing their exceptional talent, students from PGIMS, Rohtak, have clinched the prestigious 'College of the Year' title at a national-level competition organized by the Network of Student Leaders (NEST). A total of 20 students from PGIMS, Rohtak, participated in this competition under the guidance of Dr. Sujata Sethi.
Rohtak, March 25, 2026: Showcasing their exceptional talent, students from PGIMS, Rohtak, have clinched the prestigious 'College of the Year' title at a national-level competition organized by the Network of Student Leaders (NEST). A total of 20 students from PGIMS, Rohtak, participated in this competition under the guidance of Dr. Sujata Sethi.
Dr. H.K. Agarwal, Vice-Chancellor of Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, hailed this achievement as a testament to the students' hard work and dedication, saying that they have brought glory to the university's name across the entire nation. He extended his congratulations to the student team.
Director Dr. S.K. Singhal remarked that this title reflects the talent and leadership potential of our students. Dr. M.G. Vashishth, Dean of Academic Affairs, also congratulated the students.
Dr. Sujata Sethi noted that the students who participated in this event included Avi Mittal, Parmanand, Prerna, Nikita Malik, and Rachita. She explained that NEST—a UK-funded organization—serves as a national platform dedicated to fostering leadership skills, innovation, and teamwork among students across the country.
Dr. Umesh Yadav, In-charge of the Public Relations Department, said that this achievement has once again proven that with the right guidance and teamwork, one can successfully hoist the flag of success even at the national level. University faculty members and officials were present on this occasion.
