PG Student of Medical College killed in hit and ruin case in Kangra

Dharamshala, December 1, 2022: Dr. Piyush, a PG student of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College, Tanda, died in a road accident on Wednesday night near Kangra.
SP Kangra said that an unknown vehicle hit the scooty of Dr. Piyush, a PG student in the ENT department at night on the Kangra-Tanda road. The driver of the unknown vehicle fled away from the spot after hitting the scooty.
Dr. Piyush was driving scooty died on the spot and Dr. Indira who was sitting behind on the scooty was injured and admitted to the medical college.
Police said that a case under section 279, 337, 304(A) of IPC was registered. Police are also examining the CCTV footage.
The Resident Doctors Association of Medical College Tanda has demanded the police administration to arrest the accused driver immediately.
