PG Department of Computer Science & IT Organizes “Entrepreneurial Spark and Internship Drive” at Lyallpur Khalsa College

The Postgraduate Department of Computer Science and IT at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, successfully organized an event titled “Entrepreneurial Spark and Internship Drive” for final-year students, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).

Jalandhar, November 8, 2025: The Postgraduate Department of Computer Science and IT at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar, successfully organized an event titled “Entrepreneurial Spark and Internship Drive” for final-year students, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).

Renowned organizations such as O7 Services, Jalandhar, and Coder Roots, Mohali, participated in the drive. The initiative aimed to nurture students’ entrepreneurial mindset and provide them with valuable industry exposure.

The Principal of the College, Prof. Navdeep Kaur, congratulated and appreciated the department’s efforts in creating platforms that bridge the gap between academia and industry, thereby enhancing students’ professional skills.

Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand, Head of the Department, formally welcomed the company representatives and encouraged students to explore innovative opportunities in the IT and entrepreneurial sectors. Representatives from the participating organizations conducted technical tests and interviews to assess students’ skills and competencies. After a detailed evaluation, 14 students were shortlisted for the final round.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Geetanjali Moudgill, Dean and Convener of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), who acknowledged the contributions of all faculty members, participating companies, and students. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Daljeet Kaur.

On this occasion, Prof. Ratnakar Mann, Prof. Jaspreet Saini, Prof. Ravinder Kaur, and Prof. Kritika were also present.
