PG Department of Computer Science & IT of PCM S.D. College for Women conducts Online Exam in association with IIT Bombay Spoken Tutorial

PG Department of Computer Science & IT of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar successfully conducted IIT Bombay Spoken Tutorial Online Exam in the Department. Students from various classes such as BC A, BA/BSc, MSc  (Computer Science). MSc( IT). PGDCA, Diploma in Office Automation appeared for the Online Exam for the respective courses that are part of IIT Bombay FOSS – Free open-source software Project.  This online test provided platform for the  students to test their subject knowledge and skillset. In addition to this, an objective type test of 20-45 minutes was conducted  in the subjects such as Introduction to Computers and HTML. Almost 103 students of various streams  participated in this event. Faculty coordinators, Invigilators and  students made every possible effort for the overall conduct and training of the courses through softwares and video lectures available from Spoken Tutorial, IIT Bombay. Many students who cleared the online test, were able to download their certificates immediately directly from their accounts on Spoken Tutorial website. Shivani Sharma, Head of the  Department, congratulated the students and motivated them to participate in such academic events for their skill enhancement. She also appreciated the event organizer Annie Ahuja and invigilator Shilpi for the successfully organizing the event.
President Naresh Kumar Budhia, other members of the Managing Committee and the  Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the students for their participation. She also praised the efforts of the faculty of the Department of Computer Science for organizing such events.
