Personality Development discussed in NSS Camp in Panjab University

Chandigarh, March 26, 2022: Panjab University and NSS revisited the zeal of the NSS Seven Day Camp alive by first conducting a session on Self Defence & Wushu techniques in which the volunteers learnt various techniques to defend themselves. The next thing on the agenda was a lecture on “Personality Development” by Prof. Renu Thakur in which the volunteers learnt about how procrastination can be averted and how volunteers can better utilize their time. During her interaction, she gave insight of various personalities like Mr. Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister, India, Mr. Nelson Mandela, and Kabir’s couplets to substantiate the importance if time management for an individual. It was indeed a very informative session. It was followed by a singing competition in which a huge number of volunteers actively participated. After the lunch break, the camp resumed with a Quiz Competition in which Department of Law secured the first position followed by UIET as 1strunner-up. It was followed a bunch of fun games and activities to keep the spirit of the volunteers alive and fresh. The event concluded with the rehearsals of the cultural performances.
