Ludhiana, May 4, 2025: People from all walks of life paid last tributes to Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur's mother Sarabjit Kaur, who passed away recently, during her Bhog and antim ardas held at Gurudwara Shri Damdama Sahib in Doraha on Sunday.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora, Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond, Ludhiana East MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal, Payal MLA Manwinder Singh Giaspura, Atam Nagar MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu, Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga, Ludhiana South MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina, Gill MLA Jiwan Singh Sangowal, Senior Deputy Mayor Rakesh Prashar, Deputy Mayor Prince Johar, late MLA Gurpreet Gogi's wife and Chairperson PEDA Dr Sukhchain Kaur Bassi, Chairman Markfed Amandeep Singh Mohie, Chairman Navjot Jarg, Chairman Suresh Goyal, Chairman Sharanpal Singh Makkar, President Doraha Municipal Council Sudarshan Kumar Sharma, President All Trade Union Bobby Tiwari, Rahul Ricky among other councillors and officials of Municipal Corporation Ludhiana paid last tributes to the departed soul.
Cutting across party lines, several leaders of other parties including former Payal MLA Lakhvir Lakha, former Ludhiana East MLA Ranjit Singh Dhillon, former Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria, SAD leader Pritpal Singh Pali among others also paid last respects to the departed soul.
Paying last tributes to Sarabjit Kaur, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora also announced Rs 5 lakh for maintenance and upkeep of cremation ground in Doraha.
Everyone prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
