People facing extreme difficulty in getting ration through application provided by government: CPI 

Ludhiana: The Communist Party of India (CPI) District Ludhiana unit has alleged that people are finding it very hard to get ration through the application provided by the government. They do not get phone number 1905 connected.  It is very difficult for the ordinary people who do not have smart phone to access the applications. So they have to seek some ones help. Then if they are called for ration they get nothing harassment by the police. There are instances where people have gone three times to get ration but in vain. One of our comrades Randhir Singh had gone to help someone for ration but a policeman in plain clothes hurled abuses at him for which he has already lodged a complaint. Some times when they apply the message is that they have a blue card whereas the person does not have a blue card in his name. A deputation of the party had met the Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana and suggested that the ration supply can be made easy and transparent by involving the BLOs as they are well versed with the persons of their area. The party demanded that ration should be ensured to all without any condition. If this had been done in a fool proof manner earlier many workers would have not gone to their native places and worked here and contributed in restart of the economic process.
