PCV immunization drive starts in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, August 25,2021: Dr. Kiran Ahluwalia, Civil Surgeon, Ludhiana inaugurated the PCV immunization program at Civil Hospital Ludhiana under the leadership of Hon'ble Deputy Commissioner Mr. Virinder Kumar. 
Introducing the vaccine, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Varinder Kumar said that it would be administered free of cost in all the government hospitals.
District Immunization Officer Dr. Raj Kumar said that this vaccine would be given in routine immunization of children at 6 weeks, 14 weeks and 9 months and each child would be given three doses.
The group staff has been alerted about this vaccine. This is a good operation by the health department.
