PCTE’s “Ehsaas 2026” Brings Together 41 Colleges for a Grand Inter-College Competition

The second day of PCTE’s Festaweek 2026 witnessed a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity and intellect with “Ehsaas – An Inter-College Competition,” which saw enthusiastic participation from 41 colleges from across the region.

Ludhiana, October 8, 2026: The second day of PCTE’s Festaweek 2026 witnessed a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity and intellect with “Ehsaas – An Inter-College Competition,” which saw enthusiastic participation from 41 colleges from across the region.
The event featured a lively mix of competitions, including Solo Song, Solo Dance, Group Dance, Quiz, JAM, Extempore, Face Painting, CTRL + PLAY, Dumb Charades and PICTO. The PCTE campus came alive with enthusiasm as students showcased their artistic talent, creativity and intellectual skills through various cultural and literary competitions.
A total of ₹2,12,500 in cash prizes were awarded to the winners. The Overall Trophy of Ehsaas 2026 was proudly lifted by Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management.
Among the key highlights, PURC (Punjab University Regional Centre) secured the first position in JAM, while Government College for Girls emerged victorious in PICTO. Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College claimed the first position in Face Painting, while Kurukshetra University won Dumb Charades.
Gulzar Group of Institutes, Khanna emerged victorious in CTRL + PLAY, while Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College won the Extempore Competition. SCD Government College secured the first position in the Quiz, while Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management excelled in the Solo Song category.
Harpreet Kaur Kang, Dean, International Affairs, PCTE Group of Institutes, appreciated the enthusiasm and creativity shown by the participants and organisers. She said that Ehsaas 2026 provided students with a platform to showcase their talent, interact with students from different colleges and gain confidence through healthy competition. She added that such events encourage teamwork, creativity and overall personality development among students.
Festaweek 2026 is being organised with Crest Consultancy as the Festival Sponsor and Ralco Tyres as the Event Sponsor, with LBPL and Coca-Cola as Beverage Partners.
The event concluded with the announcement of winners and distribution of prizes, marking another successful edition of Ehsaas under Festaweek 2026.
