PCTE Students Win Gold and Silver at Everest Culinary Challenge – Season 7

Ludhiana, February 27, 2026: The PCTE Group of Institutes once again demonstrated its excellence in hospitality education as its students delivered an outstanding performance at Better Kitchen – Season 7 (Everest Culinary Challenge), a prestigious national-level culinary competition. The event was held at DY Patil University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, from 18th to 19th February 2026.
The competition witnessed the participation of 40 candidates from 19 cities across India, making it a highly competitive national platform for emerging culinary professionals.
Bringing immense pride to the institute, Japneet Kaur clinched the Gold Medal, while Parneet Kaur secured the Silver Medal for their exceptional culinary skills, creativity, and presentation. Both students are from the 2nd-year BHMCT (4th Semester) class and impressed the judges with their innovation, technical expertise, and professional approach.
Adding further glory, the PCTE Group of Institutes was also honoured with the “Best Host Partner Award” for Everest Culinary Challenge – Season 7. This recognition highlighted the institute’s strong industry collaboration, organisational excellence, and significant contribution to promoting culinary education at the national level.
The management and faculty of PCTE congratulated the students and the Hotel Management Department for this remarkable achievement and reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to providing hands-on training, national exposure, and industry-driven learning opportunities that prepare students for successful careers in the hospitality sector.
