PCTE organises Run for Invest in Punjab

Ludhiana, February 23, 2023: PCTE Group of Institutes organized a Run for “Invest in Punjab”, at its Campus II today afternoon. The run was organised to promote the states’ vision for achieving inclusive, equitable and sustainable growth.
 

PCTE Group of Institutes, embarking on its excellent track record of co-curricular activities and strong academic hold organized ‘Run for Cause’ with the theme “Invest in Punjab” an event for the students and staff alike. The race took off from Campus-II and concluded at Campus-I.
 

In all, 470 boys, 283 girls, completed the race. The students were highly motivated and were cheered on by their classmates and other faculty members. It was a run of about 3 kilometres.
 

Overall, among boys Samuel from MLS 1st Year stood first, Monychhot from BCA 2nd Year and Khartoum of B. Tech 2nd Year stood second and third respectively. And among girls Urvashi from BSc. MLS 2nd Year stood first, Eunice from BCA 2A year stood second and Patricia from B. Sc. MLS 1 Year stood third respectively. 
 

Amitej Singh, Assistant Professor, PCTE said “This is the regular event, which helps students realize the benefits of maintaining good health and good lifestyle and also create awareness in the society. The smile of accomplishment on the faces of every individual after run was indeed memorable and reflected the successful completion of the event”
 

Dr. K. N. S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes said that “The run was an effort to spread the message of peace and harmony, especially amidst the current situation the world is facing due to the dawn of a new era forced upon the world by Russian Ukraine War and how we must spread the message to choose peace over aggression.”
