PCTE organised `The Great Indian Curry Festival’

Ludhiana: PCTE Institute of Hotel Management organized 'The Great Indian Curry Festival' with the aim of providing India's Finest curries or gravies which provides healthy immunity boosters during this Corona times at a minimal cost. Kip's Celebrity - Chef Hitesh Arora, Chef Neelu Kaura, Chef Sudhanshu was spotted there as a guest enjoying the festival. General Manager Mr. Prakash Raj and Front Office Manager Atul Gupta from Sarovar Park Plaza, Deep Joshi, - an actor, Ms. Rooh Chaudhary- Food Blogger, Davy Garewal - actor and Tashi Manget - the owner of The Horse Shoe Cafe were also a part of the event.

After 6 months of extensive research, PCTE IHM division created- total preservative-free India's best 15 tyes of ready-made gravies or curries. These were made using the best ingredients veggies and whole spices. These curries are available in jars with a shelf life of 6 to 7 days from the manufacturing date. These exotic curries are good to go with all the favorite vegetables, chicken, and meat.150 students participated in this festival in order to provide 5-star restaurant taste in 5 minutes and that too at home. Signature gravies like Punjabi Butter Masala, Bengali Malai Curry, Kerelian Moilee Curry, Methi Malai Gravy, Palak Cream Gravy, No onion-garlic creamy gravy to name a few were a big success and were sold out in no time.

Mr. Anirban Gupta appreciated the efforts made by students as they working really hard for 6month on research as to how to make the gravies last long. He also mentioned that eating preference was kept in mind while preparing these dishes. He was stunned by how the students targeted a large amount of audience in order to create curries. The dedication shown by the IHM students will definitely help them to move further in their careers.

Dr. KNS Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the students and said that these competitions widen the thought process of the youngsters and prepare them to think out of the box, which eventually helps to outshine from rest of the world. He also added by saying that the students had put a lot of effort and he is proud of the students.
