Ludhiana, February 10, 2026: PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana, hosted the Punjab Round of Better Kitchen’s Everest Culinary Challenge – Season 7 today at the PCTE campus, Ludhiana.
Everest Culinary Challenge is one of India’s leading culinary competitions, being conducted across 19 cities nationwide and offering a strong national platform to emerging culinary talent. The Punjab Round witnessed enthusiastic participation from hospitality institutes and young chefs, who presented innovative dishes based on the theme “Flavours of India.”
The competition aims to nurture creativity, technical skills and professional confidence among students pursuing careers in hospitality, bakery and food & beverage services. Multiple competitive categories were conducted, including the Culinary Challenge, Bakery Championship, Young Masters Challenge and Housekeeping Olympiad.
The jury for the Punjab Round included eminent hospitality professionals:

Top performers from the Punjab Round will qualify for the national finale of Everest Culinary Challenge – Season 7, where winners will receive cash prizes and national recognition. Participants also stood a chance to gain international exposure opportunities and scholarships through global education collaborations.
The event was organised by Better Kitchen with Everest Spices as the Title Partner and PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana as the Host Partner. The competition brought together leading hospitality institutes from across Punjab, turning the PCTE campus into a vibrant hub of culinary creativity today.
The competition concluded with the announcement of winners across all categories. In the Culinary Challenge, Parneet and Japneet secured first position, followed by Kartik and Jaspreet in second place and Himanshu and Kanwar in third. In the Bakery Championship, Soham and Ashima won first prize, Kritika and Sia secured second position, while Bhavya and Mishti stood third. In the Housekeeping Olympiad, Aman Bhatt won first place, followed by Lovish in second position and Gagandeep along with Swyam Jain in third. In the Food & Beverage Service category, Amandeep Chabra secured first position, Ishaan stood second, and Suraj won third place.
