Ludhiana, September 20, 2025: The PCTE Institute of Engineering & Technology (of PCTE Group of Institutes) has successfully completed a prestigious collaborative project with the Army unit at Baddowal, resulting in the joint fabrication of a specialized device required by the Army.

To mark this achievement, the Army team felicitated PCTE members today in recognition of their dedication and contributions to the defence project. The PCTE team comprised faculty members Dr. Mohammad Arif, Harpreet Singh Dhanoa, Tisha, along with Vishesh, a B.Tech 2nd Year CSE student.

This collaboration highlights the strong focus of PCTE on innovation, applied research, and technology development for national relevance. It also provides students with the invaluable opportunity to work on real-world projects, where they gain practical exposure, problem-solving skills, and the confidence to contribute to larger causes beyond academics.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. K.N.S. Kang, the Director-General of PCTE Group of Institutes expressed pride in associating with the Indian Army, stating that such initiatives not only strengthen the bond between academia and defence but also motivate students to contribute meaningfully towards technology, defence, and nation-building.
