PCTE Hosts Travel & Tourism Fair, Campus Lights Up with Aashish Solanki’s Performance
PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana, organised the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF 1.0) on its campus on the theme “One World, Endless Destinations”, bringing together students, travel enthusiasts and members of the public under one roof. Around 20 reputed travel and tourism companies participated in the fair, offering a wide range of domestic and international travel packages along with various travel-related services.
Ludhiana, February 13, 2026: PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana, organised the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF 1.0) on its campus on the theme “One World, Endless Destinations”, bringing together students, travel enthusiasts and members of the public under one roof. Around 20 reputed travel and tourism companies participated in the fair, offering a wide range of domestic and international travel packages along with various travel-related services.
Visitors explored multiple travel options including luxury holidays, adventure tours, honeymoon packages, spiritual journeys, cruises, student tours and family travel plans. Representatives of the participating agencies interacted directly with visitors and guided them on destinations, itineraries, documentation and travel formalities. The fair also proved beneficial for students of hospitality and tourism, who gained first-hand exposure to current industry practices and emerging travel trends.
The event was inaugurated by Chairman Dr K.N.S. Kang. The Chief Guest, Gurinder Singh Johal, Owner of Discover Punjab Tours and Chairman of the Indian Association of Tour Operators, along with PCTE alumni working in various government departments in Punjab, graced the occasion. He appreciated the initiative taken by PCTE to connect students with industry professionals and spoke about the growing opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sector in India. He encouraged students to build skills aligned with industry needs and to explore entrepreneurship in travel services.
Adding colour to the event, students presented cultural performances including dance and music items, which were well received by the audience. In the evening, as part of the Out Loud @ PCTE series, popular stand-up comedian Aashish Solanki performed for the students, bringing laughter and energy to the campus. The celebrations concluded with a DJ Night, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
The event was organised as part of PCTE’s continuous efforts to promote industry exposure along with cultural and co-curricular activities, contributing to the overall development of students and enhancing learning beyond the classroom.
