PCTE Hosts Star-Studded Festaweek Finale with Punjabi Sensation Jasmine Sandlas
The PCTE Group of Institutes brought its annual cultural festival, Festaweek 2026, to a grand close on Friday with a live performance by popular Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas. The concert drew an enthusiastic response from students, who danced and sang along as the singer delivered a high-energy performance.
Ludhiana, October 10, 2026: The PCTE Group of Institutes brought its annual cultural festival, Festaweek 2026, to a grand close on Friday with a live performance by popular Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas. The concert drew an enthusiastic response from students, who danced and sang along as the singer delivered a high-energy performance.
Jasmine Sandlas entertained the audience with popular tracks, including Laavan, Panjeba, Yaar Na Miley and Patlo. The Bhangra segment added to the excitement with songs such as Pat Lae Gaya and Punjabi Mutiyaran, while the Dhurandhar title track further lifted the energy of the evening. Her performance kept the crowd engaged and brought the week-long celebrations to a memorable end.
A major highlight of Festaweek 2026 was Koshish, PCTE’s intra-college competition, which saw students from various departments compete in a range of events. The competition encouraged students to showcase their talent, creativity and teamwork. B.Tech 2025 B won the Overall Trophy in the Junior category, while MBA 2C secured the Overall Trophy in the Senior category.
Harpreet Kaur Kang, Dean, International Affairs, PCTE Group of Institutes, appreciated the efforts of the students, faculty members and organising teams behind the successful festival. She emphasised the importance of extracurricular activities in helping students develop confidence, leadership and teamwork alongside academic learning.
Festaweek 2026 brought together a week of competitions, cultural performances and student participation, offering a break from routine academic life. The closing concert by Jasmine Sandlas provided a fitting finale to the celebrations, leaving students with memories of an eventful week on campus.
