PCTE Group of Institutes Celebrates “Rangistaan 8.0 – The Disco Holi” with Enthusiasm and Energy

The PCTE Group of Institutes, in association with the Events on Air Club, successfully hosted the highly anticipated “Rangistaan 8.0 – The Disco Holi,” a vibrant celebration of the festival of colors. The event brought the campus alive with an atmosphere filled with Holi music, colors, and stalls, where students relished the spirit of this joyful occasion.

Ludhiana, 13th March 2025: The PCTE Group of Institutes, in association with the Events on Air Club, successfully hosted the highly anticipated “Rangistaan 8.0 – The Disco Holi,” a vibrant celebration of the festival of colors. The event brought the campus alive with an atmosphere filled with Holi music, colors, and stalls, where students relished the spirit of this joyful occasion.

The campus was transformed into a lively space, brimming with enthusiasm, laughter, and the essence of the festival. The event featured traditional delicacies like gujiyas, a high-energy DJ setup, colorful flowers, and an abundance of vibrant hues, all of which created a perfect Holi celebration.

Samar, a final-year student of BBA, expressed his excitement, saying, "I am truly amazed by the energy that the festival brings. Studying at PCTE has not only broadened my academic knowledge but also helped me embrace and explore the rich tapestry of Indian culture.  Aanchal, a fourth-year B. Pharmacy student, shared her perspective: "Such celebrations infuse the students with a renewed sense of energy, creating a sense of joy and unity. It’s a beautiful way to reconnect with our roots."

Raja Bhagat, another student, highlighted the significance of the celebration, stating, "Festivals like these allow us to enjoy life to its fullest, helping us leave behind the stresses of daily life."

Ms. Seema Thakur, Deputy Director of Student Welfare at PCTE Group of Institutes, commended the student-driven initiative, saying, “It’s wonderful to see students take the lead in organizing such events. This not only helps them stay connected to their cultural heritage but also allows international students to immerse themselves in the traditions and vibrant celebrations of India.”

Gurleen Kaur, the Convenor of the Events on Air Club, also expressed her joy and pride in the success of the event, emphasizing how it strengthened bonds among students from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. KNS Kang, Director General of PCTE Group of Institutes, concluded by remarking, "It is essential for students to understand the history and significance of the rich culture they represent. Celebrating festivals like Holi brings us closer to our roots, fostering a deeper appreciation of our heritage and unity."
