PCTE Group of Institutes organized “Run close to Nature” Marathon

Ludhiana, January 26, 2019: The sky was pleasant for the “Run close to Nature” Marathon which was organized by PCTE Group of Institutes on the eve of Republic Day; Adventure seekers and athletes participated with full zeal and enthusiasm, where around 200 people from the city and around Punjab participated in the marathon. Anabolyic Gym was the fitness partner and the marathon was sponsored by CIRRUS Vacations, DELPOZO, Shivam Sales Corp. Organic India and Ludhiana Distance Runners. The Marathon started from PCTE Campus II with two stops for refreshment for the participants and the Marathon was categorized into 3 Km, 6 Km and 12Km, medals and certificates were provided as a memory of accomplishment to the participants who completed the Marathon Mr. Apurav Jain, Faculty, PCTE Group of Institutes expressed his gratitude towards everyone who volunteered for the run and further added by saying that organizing events like these encourage people to have a healthy lifestyle. Dr. KNS Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the participants and said “The run was an effort on the part of institute to promote the message “Run close to Nature”. He also added that, Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, but also it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.”
