PCTE Group of Institutes organises Body Building Competition

Ludhiana, February 13, 2014: PCTE Group of Institutes organised Body Building Competition. The competition has been organised for the fifth consecutive year and has received a highly enthusiastic response. Over 100 students from various disciplines participated in the competition in multiple categories.

The contest had a lot of spectators and the judges Dr Deepak Prashar, Dr. Ranveer Singh Saini  and Dr Ravi Prashar from the Ludhiana a Bodybuilding Association were very happy to see that so many students in PCTE showed emphatic interest in Body Building.

In body building competition for boys, Sandeep Singh (BCA-3rd year) stood first in Light Weight Catagory, Sukhpreet Singh (B.Pharmacy 2nd year) stood first in Middle Weight Category and Thinley Dorjee (B.Sc-Biotech 3rd year) bagged the first position in Heavy Weight Category. Thinley Dorjee has been entitled “Mr. PCTE”.

Kapil Prashar and Anil Sharma event organisers said that we were astonished to see the zeal of participants “We organise this event to encourage health consciousness among the youth.”

Prof. Swapan Chanana Unit Head, PCTE Group of Institutes on the occasion said, “Body building is a rigorous discipline. It demands dedicated commitment and constant hardwork on regular basis to win at a platform like this.
