PCTE establishes institutional innovative council
Ludhiana, November 11, 2019: In order to systematically foster the culture of Innovation, Punjab College of Technical Education (PCTE) has established an Institutional Innovative Council, as it had undertaken various activities prescribed by the Innovation Cell, Ministry of HRD, and Government of India to promote Innovation and start-up in its campus.
With the help of MHRD, PCTE will focus on creating a complete ecosystem which will foster the culture of Innovation from ideas generation to pre-incubation, incubation and graduating from the incubator as successful start-ups.
Mr. Naresh Sachdeva, Professor, PCTE Group of Institutes said that with the establishment of the Institutional Innovative Council, the students would be encouraged to explore their creative energy and to work on new ideas, innovation and promote them to create start-ups and entrepreneurial ventures.
Dr. Gautum Bansal, Director, PCTE Group of Institutes said that PCTE has always provided its students hands-on experience, so that they outshine from the rest of the crowd. However PCTE is the only college under PTU who has taken this certification from Ministry of Human Resource Development.
Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes said that in order to create a start-up students need to be creative and have to think out of the box, with the establishment of IIC, PCTE would give students various opportunities to explore and implement their creative ideas and would also provide direction to their passion.
