These elections were not limited to the local students in fact elections were being conducted for the International Students Club in which Ngot from Congo Brazzaville was being chosen by the 240 international students from 30 different countries as their president.

Dr. Gautam Bansal, Dean said that the zeal of participants and the voters left me astounded. It is very important for a voter to understand that voting is as much a responsibility as it is a right and it is moment of proud that the youth knows their responsibility.

Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes on the occasion said, “Students holding various positions in different clubs gets a sense of responsibility”. They learn and improve upon their organizing and leadership skills. Also as a voter youth have one of the greatest rights which any free people can have. They should vote because their vote holds a strong voice. It is good to see such a positive response of the students towards the in-house elections.
