“Different Cultures, Same Dreams”: Music, Dance and Dinner Mark an Evening of Friendship
Ludhiana, October 1, 2026: PCTE Group of Institutes organised an International Students Get-Together on its campus on Thursday, bringing together students from different countries for an evening of music, dance, food and interaction.
Students from Lesotho, South Sudan, Sudan, Liberia, Comoros, Seychelles, Zimbabwe, The Gambia, Somalia, Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Eswatini, among others, attended the gathering.
The event provided students with an opportunity to spend time together outside the classroom, interact with peers and share their cultural experiences. The evening included music, dance and dinner, with students enjoying the informal setting and strengthening their friendships.
Speaking on the occasion, Harpreet K. Kang, Dean, International Affairs, PCTE Group of Institutes, said, "At PCTE, we believe that education goes beyond classrooms and textbooks. When students from different countries come together, they bring their cultures, experiences and perspectives with them. Such gatherings help create meaningful connections and make our campus a truly global community."
For students living away from their home countries, such gatherings also provide an opportunity to build friendships and develop a sense of belonging. The event reflected the diverse student community at PCTE, where students from different parts of the world study and live together.
The evening concluded with dinner and informal interactions, leaving students with an opportunity to connect with one another and celebrate the spirit of friendship.
