PCM S.D.College for Women organizes Successful Oil Packaging Business Plan Competition

Jalandhar, March 30, 2024: The Department of Cosmetology of  PCM S.D.College for Women, Jalandhar organized an Intra-Institutional Business Plan Competition centered around the idea of Oil Packaging Business. 

Rajni Kapoor and Mrs. Divya Budhia presided as judges for the competition. The event aimed to provide students with insights into various aspects of the oil industry, covering exploration, production, distribution, and environmental impact. To achieve this, students had access to hands-on experiences, expert guidance, industry data, research materials, case studies, and networking opportunities with professionals. Staying updated on current trends, technologies, and challenges in the oil industry was emphasized to prepare participants effectively.

The first prize was awarded to Ishita and Jaspreet, the second prize went to Isha, and the third prize was secured by Geetika. Winning teams were recognized for their comprehensive analyses, creative strategies, and effective communication of ideas to the judges. Additionally, factors such as teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to competition guidelines were noted as influential in determining the final results.

President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar felicitated the students for their participation. She also applauded the efforts of the Department of Cosmetology for organizing such events for the overall development of the students.
