PCM S.D.College. for Women, Jalandhar celebrates Rashtriya Poshan Maah

Department of Home Science of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar celebrated Rashtriya Poshan Maah  in order  to create awareness regarding nutrition and health.  Different activities were organized for the students such as flameless Cooking Competition , Poster Making Competition etc.  Students from different streams  participated enthusisatically.  In  addition to this,  guest lecture by Mrs.Monika Mahajan, Dietician and Clinical Nutritionist on ‘Life Style Disorders in Adolescent Girls’ was also organized. The lecture proved utterly beneficial to students as it enlightened them regarding the ways to achieve good health. President Naresh Kumar Budhia ji, other honourable members of the  Managing Committee and the worthy Principal  Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the students for their participation. She also praised the efforts of the faculty of the Department of Home Science for organizing such events.
