Jalandhar, May 12, 2026: PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary School for Girls, Jalandhar, organized an International Guest Lecture under the aegis of the Punjabi Department. The keynote speaker for the session was Sukhi Bal (Department of Justice, Australia; Punjabi actress, mountaineer, and athlete).
Sukhi Bal is an eminent and inspiring personality who holds the unique distinction of being the first Punjabi woman to summit Mount Ama Dablam. On this occasion, she shared her experiences of a challenging 21-day expedition with the students. While motivating the students, she emphasized the importance of active participation in academic as well as literary, cultural, and other creative activities, stating that such engagements play a significant role in the holistic development of students.
On this occasion, the President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other esteemed members of the Managing Committee and the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated Sukhi Bal on her remarkable achievements. They also appreciated the Punjabi Department for organizing such an inspiring and knowledge-enriching program for the students.
