Jalandhar, December 12, 2025: The Department of Political Science of PCM S.D. Collegiate Senior Secondary Girls School, Jalandhar celebrated International Human Rights Day.
The event aimed to spread awareness about the values of equality, dignity, and justice for all. As part of the celebration, the department conducted a Human Rights Awareness Rally, in which students and faculty actively participated. The rally highlighted the importance of safeguarding human rights and promoting social harmony.
Following the rally, the participants also formed a Human Chain to symbolize unity and collective responsibility towards protecting human rights. Principal Dr Pooja Prashar and Sushma Sharma, Incharge of the Collegiate Block, appreciated the sincere efforts of all the students. Monika Sharma, Ruhi, Jaswinder Kaur, Nitika, Ashima, Neetu Sharma and Ravinder Kaur were also present there.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other members of the Managing Committee, and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar applauded the efforts of the department for successfully organising the event.
