PCM S.D. College for Women Sensitizes Students to Stay Safe from AI-Enabled Cyber Frauds
In an endeavour to create awareness about the growing menace of cyber frauds and promote responsible digital practices, PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized an informative Guest Lecture on “AI for Cyber Safety: Safeguarding Yourself from Frauds and Scams”. Jalandhar, August 11, 2026: In an endeavour to create awareness about the growing menace of cyber frauds and promote responsible digital practices, PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized an informative Guest Lecture on “AI for Cyber Safety: Safeguarding Yourself from Frauds and Scams”. The programme was organized by the Cultural Enlightenment Cell under the aegis of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).
The session was conducted by Dr. Jaswinder Kaur (ACS), SEBI Resource Person and Head, PG Department of Commerce, Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women, Jalandhar. She sensitized the students about AI-enabled cyber threats, online frauds, scams, phishing, and other digital risks. She also shared practical tips and safe digital practices to help students identify suspicious online activities and protect themselves from cyber frauds.
The interactive session proved highly beneficial for the students and faculty members, enhancing their awareness about the responsible and secure use of technology in an increasingly digital world.
