Jalandhar, April 4, 2026: PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized a successful Placement Drive to provide students with valuable career opportunities and to strengthen the connection between academia and industry. The drive was organized by the Placement Cell of the college.
Representatives from various reputed companies and organizations visited the college campus to conduct interviews and interact with students. The participating organizations included Castle Toyota, Capital Small Finance Bank , Jobs Market Placement, Coder Roots, 07 Solutions, Future Finders, Nikheil & Rivendra, Ramtex (Parmeshwari Silk Mills Ltd.), Lakmé Salon, Ragsu (Sporting Goods, Wear & Shoes), Rimpi Makeover, HB Make Up School & Studio, Saurabh Makeover, and B Stylish, among others.
The placement drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students who actively appeared for interviews. Their confident interaction and commendable performance reflected the college’s strong academic foundation and its focus on skill development and career readiness.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, the honourable members of the Managing Committee, and the Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the Placement Cell for organizing such a fruitful initiative. They reiterated the institution’s commitment to nurturing talent, strengthening industry–academia collaboration, and empowering students to achieve success in their professional journeys.
The Placement Cell was efficiently coordinated by In-charges Rajni Kapoor and Dr. Divya Budhia Gupta, with Co-Incharges Sunita Bhalla, Shivani Sharma, and Daljit Kaur. The event was further supported by Coordinators Dr. Anju, Rupinder Kaur, and Inderjeet Kaur, whose dedicated efforts contributed to the smooth organization and success of the placement drive.
