PCM S.D. College for Women Organizes Rakhi Exhibition Cum Sale: A step towards student entrepreneurship
The P.G. Department of Fashion Designing at PCM S.D. College for Women, under the aegis of the IIC Cell, successfully organized a vibrant Two-Day Rakhi Exhibition Cum Sale. Students from B.Sc., B.Voc., and M.Sc. Fashion Designing courses showcased their creativity by crafting exquisite Rakhis using various modern techniques, including beadwork, resin art, thread work, clay, and quilling.

Jalandhar, August 7, 2025: The P.G. Department of Fashion Designing at PCM S.D. College for Women, under the aegis of the IIC Cell, successfully organized a vibrant Two-Day Rakhi Exhibition Cum Sale. Students from B.Sc., B.Voc., and M.Sc. Fashion Designing courses showcased their creativity by crafting exquisite Rakhis using various modern techniques, including beadwork, resin art, thread work, clay, and quilling.
The exhibition was graced by the presence of Principal, Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar, who not only encouraged the students but also commended their innovative designs. The students' efforts were richly rewarded, with many earning substantial amounts through the sale of their handmade Rakhis.
The Rakhi Exhibition Cum Sale was also held in the PCM S.D. Collegiate Block, reflecting the college’s commitment to nurturing creativity and entrepreneurial skills among its students.
