PCM S.D. College for Women organizes Books Exhibition cum Sale and Guest Lecture on Swami Vivekanand - A Youth Icon

Jalandhar, March 5, 2024: The Vivekananda Studies Centre of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar  organized a captivating Books Exhibition cum Sale and an insightful Guest Lecture on "Swami Vivekananda - A Youth Icon." Dr. Monika Sharma, Associate Professor of History and Director of the Gandhian Studies Centre at KMV College, Jalandhar, served as the resource person for the lecture. During the event, Dr. Sharma elaborated on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing his role as a youth icon. 

Further, the Book Exhibition cum Sale showcased a collection of inspiring books directly related to Swami Vivekananda. All the books on display aimed to inspire and uplift students, offering valuable insights into the life and teachings of this revered figure. The nominal prices set for these books made them accessible to students, providing an excellent opportunity for self-improvement and personal growth. This initiative not only enriched the students' understanding of Swami Vivekananda but also empowered them with affordable resources for self-upgradation.

President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, the other honorable members of the Managing Committee and  the worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar, lauded the efforts of the Vivekananda Studies Centre for successfully organizing the events.
