Jalandhar, November 20, 2025: The Library Advisory Committee of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized a Book Exhibition on the college premises to promote reading habits and provide students with access to a wide range of books.
Kalyani Publishers displayed an extensive collection covering diverse subjects, including literature, science, commerce, management, and general knowledge.
The exhibition aimed to encourage students to explore beyond their syllabus and develop a regular reading habit.
The event concluded with highly positive feedback from visitors. The Library Advisory Committee expressed its gratitude to the college management and staff for their continuous support and announced plans to organize similar literary events in the future to further promote academic enrichment and a culture of reading.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, the other members of the Managing Committee and the Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the Library Committee for promoting the habit of reading, enhancing academic engagement and fostering intellectual curiosity among students and attendees.
