PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised a Slogan Writing Competition to promote patriotism, unity, freedom and national pride among students.

Jalandhar, August 20, 2026: PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised a Slogan Writing Competition to promote patriotism, unity, freedom and national pride among students.
Around 20 students participated enthusiastically in the competition and presented creative and meaningful slogans highlighting love for the nation, unity in diversity, freedom and the responsibility of youth towards nation-building. The entries were judged on the basis of creativity, originality, relevance and clarity of the message.
Tania of B.A. Semester I secured the First Position, Simran of B.A. Semester I secured the Second Position, and Kairan of B.A. Semester III secured the Third Position.
The activity provided students with an opportunity to express their ideas creatively, develop national awareness and strengthen their sense of patriotism and responsibility towards the nation. It also encouraged active participation in co-curricular activities.
