The Buddy Program of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organised a Quiz Competition on Drug Abuse Awareness to sensitize students about the harmful effects of drugs and to promote the importance of leading a healthy and drug-free life.

Jalandhar, March 27, 2026: The Buddy Program of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organised a Quiz Competition on Drug Abuse Awareness to sensitize students about the harmful effects of drugs and to promote the importance of leading a healthy and drug-free life.
The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged in answering questions related to drug abuse, its impact on health and society, and preventive measures. The competition was conducted in an interactive manner, encouraging students to enhance their awareness and knowledge about the issue.
Three teams participated in the competition. Team A comprised Upasana and Tina of B.A. B.Ed. Semester II. Team B included Ashu of B.A. B.Ed. and Sonam of B.A. Semester II. Team C consisted of Guneet and Pooja of B.A. B.Ed. Semester II. After a close and exciting contest, Team C emerged as the winner, displaying commendable knowledge and confidence.
The activity proved to be informative and engaging, reinforcing the message that awareness and education play a vital role in combating drug abuse and building a responsible and healthy society.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, the members of the Managing Committee and the Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the initiative taken by the Buddy Program and commended the active participation of the students.
