Jalandhar, April 6, 2024: PCM S.D. College for Women in Jalandhar hosted a Guest Lecture on 'Creative Writing,' organized by Department of Punjabi.
The event featured esteemed speakers, Dr. Harpreet Singh (Associate Professor) and Dr. Satwant Singh (Assistant Professor) from Department of Punjabi, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara.
Dr. Satwant Singh provided a comprehensive overview of the essential elements of literary creation, while Dr. Harpreet Singh shared insightful anecdotes from his own experiences, emphasizing the aesthetic components of poetry and storytelling, and encouraging students to explore their writing abilities. The students actively engaged with the experts, demonstrating enthusiasm and curiosity during the Question-answer session.
Dr. Anju Bala skillfully managed the proceedings, and Akwinder Kaur delivered a vote of thanks.
The event garnered praise from President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other esteemed members of the managing committee, and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar, who commended the efforts of the Punjabi department.
