Jalandhar, December 27, 2023: PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar  in collaboration with IQAC, organized a comprehensive Five-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) from December 18 to December 22. 

The FDP, themed "Achieving Physical and Mental Wellness," was exclusively tailored for the non-teaching staff of the institution. The primary objective of this initiative was to equip non-teaching staff members with a profound understanding of physical fitness and mental well-being. The FDP aimed to empower participants with tools to effectively manage stress, cultivate knowledge of a balanced diet, embrace yoga practices, instill hygiene awareness and adopt healthy habits.In line with the college's commitment to the welfare of its entire community, including non-teaching staff, this FDP signifies a holistic approach to fostering the well-being of everyone associated with the institution. The college recognizes the crucial role that non-teaching staff plays in the developmental journey of the institution and values their contribution towards maintaining a thriving educational environment. Furthermore, the FDP aligns with the college's dedication to gender equity by ensuring that all segments of the college community, irrespective of gender or role, receive opportunities for personal and professional growth. The college firmly believes that a stress-free life, coupled with physical fitness, enhances motivation levels, ultimately contributing to the overall well-rounded development of its staff.
