PCM S.D. College for Women Celebrates International Commerce Day with Poster Making Competition

The PG Department of Commerce and Management of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organised a Poster Making Competition on the occasion of International Commerce Day.The competition was organised under the guidance of the faculty members of the department with the objective of enhancing students' creativity, critical thinking, and awareness of emerging trends and issues in the field of commerce.

Jalandhar, August 7, 2026: The PG Department of Commerce and Management of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organised a Poster Making Competition on the occasion of International Commerce Day.The competition was organised under the guidance of the faculty members of the department with the objective of enhancing students' creativity, critical thinking, and awareness of emerging trends and issues in the field of commerce.
Students of B.Com Semester I (Regular & FS) prepared posters on the theme "Digital Banking and Cyber Security," B.Com Semester III (Regular & FS) showcased their creativity on "Evolution of Global Trade," while B.Com Semester V (Regular & FS) presented innovative ideas on "Sustainable & Green Practices." The participants displayed remarkable artistic skills, originality, and conceptual understanding through informative and attractive posters, making the event both educational and inspiring.
The competition was judged by the Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar, Dr. Neena Mittal, Dr. Divya Budhia, and Kawaljeet Kaur. The winners were awarded first, second, third, and consolation prizes in their respective categories on the basis of creativity, relevance to the theme, presentation, and overall impact.
The competition concluded on a highly successful note, with the judges appreciating the enthusiasm, imagination, and sincere efforts of all the participants. The event provided an excellent platform for students to express their ideas through art while strengthening their understanding of contemporary commercial issues.
