PAU VC acknowledges coffee table book on spiritual journey of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib

Ludhiana: Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon, Vice-Chancellor, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) and Padma Shri Awardee, acknowledged the Coffee Table Book titled “Spiritual Journey of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib,” authored by Punjab based Lawyer Harpreet Singh Sandhu. The book, which is dedicated to the 400th Birth Anniversary of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib, has been compiled in collaboration with Punjab Pollution Control Board.

Dr Dhillon appreciated the pious work initiated by Mr Sandhu and stated that the relevance and timing of the coffee table book is the most appropriate as it depicts the pious journey of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib from his birth till martyrdom through pictorial visuals of the historical gurudwaras, where ninth Sikh Guru left his footprints during his life span, i.e. Guru ka Mahal (Amritsar), Gurudwara Vayah Asthan (Kartarpur, district Jalandhar), Gurudwara Bhora Sahib (Baba Bakala), Gurudwara Thara Sahib (Amritsar), Gurudwara Guru Ke Mahal (Bhora Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gurudwara Thara Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib), Gururwara Dukh Niwaran (Patiala), Gurudwara Guru Ke Bagh (Patna Sahib), Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib (Chandni Chowk, Delhi), Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib (Delhi), Gurudwara Bibangarh Sahib (Ropar), Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib) and Gurudwara Akal Bunga Sahib (Sri Anandpur Sahib).

Dr Dhillon further said that the Coffee Table Book will be of immense interest for the faculty as well as students of PAU to have the glimpse of the sacred shrines and their brief history, which will leave a deep imprint in their lives.
