PAU student qualifies UGC-NET Exam

Ludhiana, July 28, 2025: Manisha Kumari, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Soil and Water Engineering, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has successfully qualified the UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professor in Environmental Science, conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in June 2025. Manisha is currently pursuing her doctoral research on “Modeling Reservoir Sedimentation using Cloud Computing and Machine Learning Techniques in Chohal Dam, Punjab” under the guidance of Dr Mahesh Chand Singh, Scientist, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr JP Singh, Head, Department of Soil and Water Engineering (SWE); and the faculty of SWE congratulated the University student for this success and wished her continued progress in her academic and professional career.
