PAU student gets best poster award

Ludhiana, April 12, 2022: Jaspreet Kaur Grewal, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemistry, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been conferred with the ‘Best Poster Award’ by the American Chemical Society during the International Symposium on “Recent Advances in Self-Assembled Materials and Supramolecular Chemistry” organized by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar recently. This award was presented for the paper entitled, “Visible light driven photocatalysis of nitroaromatic compounds using CQDs-Sr0.4Ti0.6Fe2O4.6 nanocomposite as a green reusable magnetic photocatalyst”. Presently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. research on the “Evaluation of doped strontium ferrite nanoparticles functionalized with silica, carbon quantum dots and Cl-doped graphene for the removal of contaminants” under the guidance of Dr Manpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, PAU.
