PAU STUDENT BAGS BEST POSTER PRESENTATION AWARD

Ludhiana, July 26, 2023: Er Ruchika Zalpouri, a student of Ph.D. Processing and Food Engineering, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been conferred with the “Best Poster Presentation Award” at the 5th International Conference in hybrid mode on “Innovative and Current Advances in Agriculture and Allied Sciences (ICAAAS-2023)” held at Hotel Howard Johnson by Wyndham Bur Dubai, Khalid Bin Al Waleed Rd-Al Raffa-Dubai, UAE, during July 10-16, 2023. She was awarded for her poster presentation (Virtual) on the topic “Mathematical Modelling, Artificial Neural Network and Physicochemical Quality of Onion Puree: A Comparative Study of Refractance Window Drying and Convective Drying”. Her Ph.D research is focused on the“Development and evaluation of solar assisted refractance window dryer for vegetable purees” under the guidance of Dr Manpreet Singh, Scientist, Department of Renewable Energy Engineering, PAU.

Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU; Dr Harminder Singh Sidhu, Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology; and Dr Tarsem Chand Mittal, Principal Extension Scientist-cum-Head of the department, congratulated the student for this achievement.
